Acquired unconditionally by Ashill from the educational Trust which had recently relocated this private primary school to another larger and better located site, with purpose built facilities. Funds generated from the sale helped fund the relocation and enhancements to the new site.
Located in a sought after part of Woking, the redundant and outdated buildings were in a poor state of repair and despite offering some limited local heritage interest, the significant benefits of a comprehensive development outweighed the loss of the existing building. A high quality scheme of 47 extra care apartments is being brought forward with McCarthy Stone with landscaped gardens, communal facilities, and onsite care for the new residents. The scheme meets an established need for extra care in the Woking area, and will help release family housing into the open market.
